Dr. Nancy Merrow has an extensive background in Family Medicine, Palliative Care, and Medical Leadership.
Focused on Physician Success
Nancy is recognized as a mentor and a role model among her peers and clients and constantly acts to learn and grow with them. Known for her direct approach and compassionate nature, Nancy’s current career focus is on the role of coaching for clinician success. As a Certified Executive Coach since 2014, Nancy is passionate about the role of coaching as an evidence-based practice for recovery from burnout, for advancement in career goals, and as a key adjunct to the function of high performing teams in healthcare.
She has practiced in small and large groups, created teams, and been privileged to participate in the inception and success of many programs and services. As a Chief of Staff at four hospitals, Nancy has overseen the recruitment and retention of hundreds of physicians. The challenging situations that physician find themselves in from time to time are not new to her. With a unique perspective on the trajectory of a medical career with all its ups and downs, she will ask you the questions that bring out your insight and inspiration to what is right for you to keep moving toward your goals.
Nancy is currently working toward certification in Conflict Management and Mediation to deepen her skills in assisting physician groups and hospitals navigate some of the tensions that arise in the work environment.
